Become a Certified CPR Instructor
Saving lives is more than just a skill—it’s a responsibility. If you’re passionate about helping others and want to take your CPR knowledge to the next level, To Care Enough CPR offers the opportunity to become a certified CPR instructor. Our comprehensive instructor training program equips you with the skills and credentials needed to teach life-saving techniques to others.
Comprehensive CPR Instructor Course
For many, saving lives is not just a profession but a calling. We provide the tools to help you turn that calling into action. Our CPR instructor course is offered 11 times a year, and successful graduates can certify others in CPR. Check our calendar for class dates or contact us for more details.
Become an AHA-Certified Instructor
To earn your American Heart Association (AHA) instructor certification, follow these steps:
- Submit an instructor candidate application to your local training center (TC). To Care Enough CPR is currently accepting instructor applications.
- Maintain a current AHA provider certification in your chosen discipline (ACLS, BLS, PALS, PEARS®, or Heartsaver®) and demonstrate proficiency in all required skills.
- Complete the Instructor Essentials online course and print the course completion certificate.
- Attend the classroom Instructor course for your selected discipline.
- Teach your first monitored course within three months of completing the Instructor course.
- Training center coordinators (TCCs) may require additional monitoring. As an AHA instructor, you gain exclusive access to updated training materials, emergency cardiovascular care science, and the AHA Instructor Network to promote your courses and connect with students.
We will guide you through the process to ensure you have the confidence and skills needed to provide high-quality instruction and empower others with life-saving training.
